Life is Good

Life is so good. You may have to look hard to see it, but it is always there. Did you know that the people in Indian slums are rated as some of the happiest in the world? Here they are in abject poverty, but because they have each other, they still feel fulfilled. No iPods, cars, or plasma TV's. Not that I want to give any of that up, but that's not where I find my self.
My wife just came home from a business trip for Girls Inc of Tulsa County. As Executive Director, she left for Indianapolis a few days ago, looking to return during an ice storm. Luckily, the storm passed us by and her trip was a rousing success. I dearly missed her- not as my children's taxi or anything like that, but genuinely missed her company and our conversations about politics, science, and our friends deep-seated issues. Anyway, she is back and she brought back that sweet sweet lovin' with her. All is right with the world.
